AL READ

Such Is Life

Here he is back again with his unique thoughts on life. Music and sketches/monologues from one of the great radio comedians of the 50s and 60s. The immortal Al Read, sausage maker from Salford, made his radio debut in 1950. His humorous ‘pictures of life’ were based on his working-class Lancashire experiences. His catchphrase was “Right Monkey!”.
